A tutti i firmatari della petizione contro le deportazioni in Libia.
Nell'ultima settimana le firme sono raddoppiate.
Siamo a quasi 4.500 firme. Migliaia di persone visitano il sito del film.
Decine e decine sono le richieste di presentazioni
in tutta Italia.
Non siamo riusciti a fermare il Trattato Italia-Libia, ma il nostro
appello è stato letto in aula, ne hanno parlato TG3, Ansa, Corriere della
Sera,
Reuters, Radio France Intern, DPA, APCom ed ora diversi parlamentari hanno
iniziato ad interessarsi della nostra denuncia, mentre
importanti ONG internazionali come Amnesty International e Save The
Children la stanno sostenendo.
In un'Italia dominata da xenofobe strumentalizzazioni di sacche di
malessere ed ignoranza, in un Paese governato dalle tronfie
demagogie di una destra intollerrante e razzista, non è facile far
crescere la voce di donne e uomini africani che con il loro corpo
chiedono il rispetto della loro vita, della loro dignità e dei loro
diritti.
Ma grazie a tutti voi, alla magnifica risposta di un'Italia (e non solo)
civile, aperta e democratica, siamo convinti che qualcosa il nostro
piccolo
documentario possa smuovere. Continuando insieme in questo cammino,
potremo iniziare a scalfire il muro apparentemente invincibile
della demagogia xenofoba, quel muro che sta producendo lesioni gravissime
dello stato di diritto, che sta riducendo esseri
umani in bestie da rinchiudere e deportare, che sta schiacciando la gran
parte del mondo politico democratico a posizioni umanamente
ed eticamente inaccettabili pur di inseguire il cavallo del consenso
mediatico ed elettorale. Insieme ce la possiamo fare.
Questa mail è quindi per ringraziarvi e per chiedervi di continuare a
sostenere e far girare la petizione e il documentario.
Nei prossimi mesi il governo cercherà di mettere in pratica le misure
previste dal Trattato ed inizieranno i pattugliamenti
congiunti. Noi faremo di tutto, anche in sede europea, per provare ad
ottenere le missioni di inchiesta e umanitarie,
che la petizione richiede. Sarà difficile, ma non impossibile se le firme
e gli spettatori del documentario continueranno.

To all the signatories of the petition against the deportation to Libya.
In the last week the signatures have doubled. We are close to 4.500 signs.
Thousands of persons visit the website of the film.
Dozens and dozens are the requests for the screening of the film
throughout Italy. We did not make it to stop the Italy-Libya Agreement,
but our call has been read at the Parliament, the TG3, Ansa, Corriere
della Sera, Reuters, Radio France Intern, DPA, APCom
have talked about it and now also several deputies have started being
interested in our complaint.
Yet, important international NGOs as Amnesty International and Save the
Children are supporting us. In this Italy dominated by ù
xenophobic manipulation of pockets of disquiet and ignorance, in a country
governed by pompous demagogy of a right wing,
intolerant and racist, it is not simple to let it grow the voices of
African women and men, that through their bodies ask for respect
of their lives, of their dignity and of their rights.
But thanks to all of you, to the magnificently answer of a civil,
open-minded and democratic Italy (and not only),
we are convinced that our little documentary can shake something.
Continuing together along this way, we will start to
scratch the apparently invincible wall of xenophobic demagogy. That wall
which is producing heavy damages
of the "state of law", which is turning human beings into beasts to shut
and to deport, which is crushing the wider part
of the political democratic world towards humanly and ethically
unacceptable positions, in order to ride the horse
of the media and electoral consent.
Together we can make it.
Then, this e-mail is to thank you and to ask you to continue supporting
and spreading the petition and the documentary.
In the next months the government will try to carry out the measures
provided by the Agreement and will begin
the joined patrolling. We will do everything it is needed, even at
European level, to try to obtain the inquiry and humanitarian
missions, requested by the petition. It will be hard, but not impossible
if the signatures will carry on and the audience
of the documentary will grow.
